Confusatron Returns! ... and other noteworthy happenings

Posted by Ed Porter on

We've got some updates from all around the roster.

Covered In Bees continue to write, record, and play. The band have an album's worth of new material they've been working on and will be demoing most of it through the fall and winter months. Look for new recordings from them in early 2019. In the meantime, you can see them this Friday at Empire where they'll be celebrating the return of seminal 90's Maine band The Amoebas and New Hampshire's Donaher.

Johnny Cremains recently spent some time at Acadia Recording Sudios in Portland. The new music is described as "the heaviest the band has ever done" and includes contributions from new vocalist Renée Coolbrith. Progress is being made, but no timeframe yet on when these recordings will see the light of day.

Pigboat have also been at work on new material. Demos to come, but no shows until the new year. Life is busy.

We're also happy to report the return of CONFUSATRON!!! The band will be playing their first show in years on September 28th in Portland at Genos.

To celebrate, we're making their 2010 album Control Alt Destroy available on all digital formats for the first time. Check out the bandcamp and look for it on your digital platform of choice (iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, etc). It'll be available on all of them soon.
